WE WILL NOT JUST LET IT GO!

Cold case/ unsolved murders is a national priority; and a national disgrace, the Bureau of Justice Statistics does not even keep track of the number. It is almost as though people do not want to know the scope of this problem.

Missing in action, as the numbers of unsolved murders have mounted into the tens of thousands has been the Justice Department. Not only is the issue of unsolved homicides missing from the list of top federal law enforcement priorities, funding for cold cases are cut back each year, until they are all but non existent.

As belonging to a family that has fought the system for 36 years, fighting for justice is next to impossible if you don’t have money, money is the name of the game. It opens doors, hires private detectives, hires excellent attorneys, but for the majority of cases, they are at the mercy of the justice systems, whose wheels turn slowly. Everyone with a loved one’s case sitting in cold case files, deserve to be heard, they will not go away! Pray for these people to find Justice for their loved one.

We are still fighting for justice, it amazes me that people want us to “just go away”, “get over it”, tell us we should” turn the other cheek”, I could go on and on, these statements hurt, this is not something we would wish for anyone to have to go through. I ask if it was your brother that was murdered by cowards, would you just get over it? On the other hand, I cannot thank the many many people, too many to count, that continue to give us encouragement with their prayers. It is comforting to know you are all out there behind us.

I totally understand the families of the suspects being in shock, they do not know that side of them, however, my brother did not shoot himself, and there is evidence that naturally is not going to be printed on the internet. A grand jury decided there was enough evidence to hold them for trial, and then a jury of their peers will decided their fate.

Attacking our family will not change the outcome; it will be in the jury’s hands and God Be with Us!

  1. Keep on fighting the good fight.

Our offender received a three year sentence, and will be released in August. I have received comments from his mother on my blog claiming we are in denial. She has also called an organization that has given us support to threaten a defamation law suit. The problem is that everything we have publicized is factually true or is opinion and is stated as such.

Those that have never been through the loss of a loved one by violence cannot understand fully what it is like.

  2. I am so sorry to hear the nightmare you are going thru, and yes, people cannot fully understand what it is like.
Yes, I can understand the negative remarks by the victims family, they are in denial.
But three years is a crime, what is wrong with that judge?? Your family has our support and prayers!

  3. No, You are all in denial. Mr Stoltz was mowed down by Bryan D. Luck and His gang of drug related friends. He just bailed out of jailed from an previous assult prior to the assult on mr. Stoltz.Don't play the denial role. Face up to the facts, this person has a history of physical violence and drug abuse. look at all the pictures, everyone of those pictures, has alcohol and smoking. Was there any productivity?

  4. Bryan D. lusk is a Crimnal. He commited a crime against another person. He was a danger to himself and to society. The justice system failed to keep this person in a place away from the public. He was unable to act like a human being and be part of society.

  5. I read about this in the Jacksonville Daily Newspaper. When I read about his wife trying to get money for his bond I about laughed my butt off seeing she had been married to him for 4 yrs. How would she know anything that had happened back in the 70's? I hope you get justice for this disgraceful act of violence against your brother. I was curious to know. What do his daughters think? Do they believe their mother helped kill their father?

  6. I just read what Anonymous who is Wesley's mother said about my son Bryan having just being bailed out from an assult previous to the night Wesley Stoltz murdered him. I do not know where you got that from because that is an out right lie. I wish Wesley Stoltz would have never came back to visit in Colorado. I would still have my son who was a loving gentle person. It is Wesley who sucker punched Bryan that night, the bouncer at the bar testified to that fact. Wesley started the fight and was embarrassed in front of the girlfriend of his friend when he lost the fight. Wesley Stoltz went back to his friend's condo came back with a knife and swung the knife three times to my son's head. When we got to the hospital that night the doctor told us the injury that Bryan received at the hands of your son was called decapitation. I think you are not a very nice person by sending us such terrible messages on our son's memorial page.

  7. just saw the Lusk-Stoltz story on Lockup. i feel for mr. lusk's parents. i just get depressed when i never ever see anybody forgive anyone in this country. its vengeance, vengeance, vengeance...the more christian, the more vengeance. its almost as if christianity is the refuge of hateful people...without it they'd be animals.

i am not referring to the Lusk's at all...i do not know anything about them other than they lost their boy.

i had a loved one who was killed in a fight. i came to terms with the fact alcohol and group mentality can turn a situation from normal to insane in a couple of minutes.

  8. I too just saw the lusk/stoltz story and I can't imagine losing a child at all nonetheless so violently. Why the reduced charge? Makes u think that there r some truths on BOTH sides.

    1. Yes, that is the same person. He is a sociopath and has no sense of responsibility. Everything is everybody else's fault. Please do yourself and your family a favor and just stay clear of him.

  10. Dear anonymous Sept 3rd
I hope not and I hope so. I am glad he might be in So Co, because I fear running in to him in Colorado. I think that caution is the best way to approach people who have murdered others. I don't know the answer to your question, but i do know that you can search on the colorado justice system page if you have a birth date. Good luck

  11. Yes, that is him. I can understand your concern, but as a friend of Wes's for over 20 yrs. I will honestly say, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. As mentioned above, there are two sides to each story. Wes was in the wrong place, at the wrong time, trying to break up a fight ( I was at court hearing ), and keep in mind, just had full knee surgery, with one good leg and on crutches. He is with out a doubt, a very sincere person with strong morals. Although they may not paint the picture that way, because bad news sells. Its the truth. The person killed was out on bail for domestic violence, and still on the street causing ruckus. Bottom line is, unfortunately someone was killed during the process and it will be something Wes will have to live with, for the rest of his life. Any other questions, I would gladly answer.

    1. I agree 1000 percent... there are always three sides to every story but whether Brian wad a bully or not that doesn't make it ok that he was murdered. He looks like a guy that doesn't start fights especially in a leg cast and ask banged up. I'm very sorry that Brian's family lost someone they lived but often times the person you see behind closed doors isn't the same person at the bars bullying people and trying to impress his friends. May God be with the victims family but if you ask me both Brian and Wesley are both victims and I'm sure he didn't mean to kill anyone!! God bless everyone my prayers ate with you

    2. Brian Lusk was brutally murdered by Wesley Stoltz. He was basically decapitated! Wesley Stoltz has no conscience or soul. He's proven that.

    3. CPR on someone who was decapitated? Don't think so. Thugs sometimes get hurt or dead. No different than if he liked to drive cars fast. Shit happens.

  12. My friend dated Wesley Stoltz. He often talked about killing Brian and portrayed himself as the victim. He had no remorse. It truly was unreal listening to this pathetic loser rationalize what he had done and why. His mother, Judith Stoltz, now admits Wesley Stoltz needs serious psychiatric help.

  13. My son can't help it that he is mentally ill. He served his time in prison. A mother can only do so much!

  14. Wes Stoltz and his mother Judith Dewall-Stoltz live together in Riverside. Wes has difficulty maintaining personal relationships and employment.

  15. I know Wesley Stoltz personally. To the person who said that he has no remorse, you are so wrong. Why do you think he is struggling so much in his personal life. He is extremely remorseful, he hates himself for what he did... no matter what he may say about it. Can he rationalize it? Sure. Anyone can.
His mother is a nut, like old lady crazy. So anything she has to say here or anywhere else shouldn't be held against him.

  16. My sincere sympathies to the Lusk family for the loss of their son. Hopefully, Mr. Stoltz will become a responsible person with a conscience and make a life worth living for himself.

  18. If the court didnt call this first degree murder, I definitely have to question if theres more to it than "my son was brutally murdered by a sociopath". Prosecutors dont give an inch if they can gain a hevier conviction. Maybe Brian wasnt the nice "kid" (he was 31) that is claimed. Maybe something occurred that botg sides are withholding. For the record, i think that wesley dude was annoying and self centered, so I dont like him either.
