A DAY I NOW COME TO FEAR

My painful memories, the same day every year
it's the day that I have now come to fear

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too,

I think of you in silence I often speak your name
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame

Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part
God has you in His keeping I have you in my heart.

But yes, this is the day I now come to fear…

  1. Dear Miller Family,
I've just seen your story on dateline.
No words could ever mend the hearts of those who have lost a loved one.
I want you to know, that I am now praying for justice for your family. Praying that you will have the strength to keep on going.
    Until that day comes.

    1. You are so kind, our justice was 38 years of waiting and praying. Getting a conviction only to have it stolen was a hard pill to swallow. But everyone knows they are guilty..and God gives us the strength to get thru each day.. Blessings..

  2. Greetings,

I'm just wondering if you have ever considered JAG in the course of your research for justice?
Forgive me if you already know this, but JAG is

"The Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), is the primary legal code through which all internal military justice matters of the United States are governed. The UCMJ applies to all members of the Military of the United States, including military retirees..."

Thus, because I noticed your suspect is retired marines, I was prompted to send you this note. I also just watched the following show which profiled a case where JAG stepped into the situation and turned the case upside down.

    1. I am sorry I did not see your reply sooner. Thank you so much, I will indeed watch the video. No, I have not contacted JAG. NCIS agents were active in the case for years and jumped for joy when he was declared guilty...Thank you again for comment.

  3. Hi from Australia, I hope you all get justice soon. Very moved by the story of Wendy and the entire family. Love will conquer in the end.

  4. Thank you for your kind comment. I have a counter on my blog that tells me where each person is located that clicks onto the blog. So far, I think every country and island in the world has read our story. The count is 25,000 and growing each day. Thank you again and yes, our story is quite unique..
